— Mr. and Mrs. Robert Benoit of Ellisville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica LeAnn, to Gathian Keith Wells, son of Phill and Judy Wells of Laurel.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Knight of Ellisville and Mr. and Mrs. Arsene Benoit of Ellisville. She is a 2003 graduate of South Jones High School. She is a 2007 graduate of Mississippi State with a bachelor’s degree in poultry science. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in poultry science at Mississippi State.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Keith Jr. of Laurel, the late Frank “Sonny” M. Wells Sr. and the late Wandis Wells. He is a 2002 graduate of West Jones High School. He was awarded an athletic scholarship and received an associate’s degree in business in 2004 at Jones County Junior College. He is a 2006 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in banking and finance. He is currently employed with BankFirst in West Point.
Wedding vows will be exchanged 6 p.m. Sept. 8, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Ellisville. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
