Ellzey, Scott

— Guy and Kathy Ellzey of Laurel along with Dale and Tina Murphy of Bay Springs announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Amanda Ellzey, to Kevin Grant Scott, son of Carl and Anita Scott of Waynesboro.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of West Jones High School and a 2006 graduate of Jones County Junior College school of Cosmetology. She is employed at Images Day Salon as a cosmetologist and at South Central Regional Medical Center in the admissions department.
The future groom is a 1999 graduate of Wayne County High School and a 2002 graduate of Jones County Junior College where he received a degree in forestry. He is employed with International Fire and Safety.
Wedding vows will be exchanged at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, with family in attendance. The ceremony will be held on the beach at Gulf Shores, Ala. Rev. Steve Nixon of Ellisville will perform the ceremony.
