— Mitchell and Sarah Speed of Ellisville announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Speed Freeman, to Heath Carter Blancett, son of Jerry and Betty Blancett of Sharon.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Walter and Jane Speed of Ellisville and the late Jeanette Speed and Earl and Delores Pitts of Ellisville. She is a 2003 graduate of South Jones High School She is currently employed with Floyd’s Formals in Laurel.
The future groom is the grandson of the late John and Lucille Smith and the late Billy and Odessa Hannah. He is a 1995 graduate of West Jones High School. He is currently employed with Essmueller of Laurel.
Wedding vows will be exchanged at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, at West Laurel Church of God. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
