Best of Class award given at Communications Awards ceremony
To the Leader-Call
The Economic Development Authority of Jones County, Mississippi received a Best of Class Award at the Communications Awards ceremony at the Southern Economic Development Council’s (SEDC) Annual Conference held Aug. 15-18, in Point Clear, Ala.
The winning entry, submitted by Sandy Holifield, was the organization’s Howard Technology Park Project Ready Overall Marketing Campaign. All entries were judged on graphic appeal, clarity and appropriateness of message, positioning and differentiation and content.
“The competition was stiff this year with over 100 entries, as economic development organizations throughout our region submitted expertly prepared materials,” said SEDC President Gene Stinson. “The entry submitted by the Economic Development Authority of Jones County was outstanding and captured the attention of the judges to garner its award.”
