Magnolia State Bank hosts free coin appraisal day

To the Leader-Call

Magnolia State Bank will offer a free coin appraisal day Saturday, July 19 at the old post office in Bay Springs. This event will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

During the event, patrons are encouraged to take their U.S. and foreign coins, paper money, medals and tokens to be appraised by experienced professional appraisers. Sterling, sterling flatware and gold pieces are also welcome.

Appraisers will provide a verbal appraisal for such items. There will be no charge for admission to this event.

“Now is a great time to locate those stashed away old coins and find out how much they might be worth,” said Thomas Brown, chairman and chief executive officer of Magnolia State Bank.

“If you have ever wondered how much that foreign coin is worth that your grandfather gave you, now is the time.”

For more information call Heather Brown 601-425-0003.
