Read named to bank’s board

— Rhonda Brooks, president of The First in Laurel, has announced that pharmacist Robert Read has been named to The First’s Advisory Board.
Read is past president of the Mississippi Board of Pharmacy and Mississippi Pharmacy Association. He also served on the Ole Miss Pharmacy School Advisory Board.
Read is a former member of the South Central Regional Hospital Board and is a member of First Baptist Church of Laurel.
Read is the father of four sons, one of which followed in his father’s footsteps and is also a pharmacist.
