Kara Lane Ishee was born April 3, 2008, at Wesley Medical Center to Chris and Jennifer Ishee of Laurel. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces at birth.
Maternal grandparents are Robert and Angie Smith of Laurel and Jeff and Marlene Mitchell of Oak Grove.
Paternal grandparents are Bobby and Barbara Ishee of Laurel.
Maternal great-grandparents are Elbin and Jackie McLaurin of Laurel and Christine Smith of Philadelphia.
Paternal great-grandparents are Carolyn Crocker of Laurel and Roy and Bonnie Faye Hutchinson of Laurel.
The mother is the former Jennifer Mitchell.
