The first half was an absolute defensive struggle, as both teams didn’t get many shots on goal. JCJC had four and Meridian took seven shots on goal, and none of the attempts fell for either team.
In the second half, The Eagles took flight as they struck at the goal 15 times, getting three to fall. Terry Silva got the first two in the 67th minute and the 73rd minute and Jason Miller attacked on a break-a-way and scored in the 81st minute.
