Golden Anniversary



Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Maddox of Moss Point celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with a trip to Apalachicola, Florida, where they attended the Dedication of a Vietnam Memorial Statue of the “Three Soldiers, Detail.” Mr. Maddox retired from the Air Force served in the Vietnam War. Mrs. Maddox was the former Seretha Blackwell, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. S.L. Blackwell of Laurel. They were married Sept. 6, 1958 at the home of the brides parents by the late Rev. Vernon L. Crawley.
