Published June 30, 2008 10:54 am - Golden Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Willie James and Annie Lee Wilkins celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple was married on June 29, 1958, at Columbus. Willie is from Aliceville, Ala. while Annie grew up in Laurel. The Wilkins’s children are Cornell (Pete), James (Duke), Elaine, Gary (Silk) and Richard. The couple has 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
