Mr. and Mrs. Bobby K. Ashley of Laurel will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary July 3, 2008.Bobby K. Ashley and Mary Ann Sherman were united in marriage July 3, 1958, in Laurel in the home of the bride’s uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon J. Williamson with Rev. Preston M. Cochran officiating the wedding ceremony. Mary Ann is the daughter of the late Braxton William Sherman and Madie Olliean Williamson Sherman of Laurel. Bobby K. is the son of Bernice Katherine Hines Ashley of Laurel and the late Buddy Ashley.
