Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Larry Wright recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple was married on May 9, 1958, at Ellisville Presbyterian Church with Dr. Hiram Sharpe officiating. Joseph is from the Shady Grove area and is the son of the late Otzie Ree Anderson Wright and Willie Wright. Wanda is from the Dixon community of Neshoba County and is the daughter of Eloyce Webb Tullos and the late James Wilburn Tullos. The Wrights’ children and their spouses are Jan and Brett Crable of Richmond, Virginia, Terri Lawson of Ellisville and David and Leslie Wright of Laurel. The couple has four grandchildren. The Wrights, in celebration of their anniversary, recently took a cruise and will be honored with a family celebration this summer.
