Golden Anniversary

— Jerry and Shelby Knotts of the Glade community recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on Jan. 25, 1958 at Antioch Baptist Church in Louin. They are the proud parents of two sons and daughter-in-laws, Greg and Shellie Knotts of Laurel and Steve and Jean Knotts of Centreville, Va. They have five grandchildren. To celebrate the occasion, they joined Steve and his family for a cruise to the Bahamas. Upon returning to Laurel, they were honored by a reception at the home of Greg and Shellie and family. Jerry is retired from the U.S. Air Force and Shelby is employed at Community Bank.
