Sumer Adams of Stringer has completed one year on the Spirit Girls teen modeling board, an initiative of Forrest General Hospital's Spirit of Women program and Turtle Creek Mall. The Spirit Girls teen modeling board is made up of 140 young ladies from throughout the 17-county service area and was developed in an effort to reach young women through events targeted at promoting self-esteem and encouraging healthy lifestyles. Selection of girls was based on personality, poise, and appearance. Spirit Girls participated in many events throughout the year such as fashion shows and mannequin modeling at Turtle Creek Mall, Salvation Army Angel Tree, Deanna Favre Hope Foundation Walk and Day of Dance, and Family Spirit at the Southern Miss Homecoming football game. Adams is the 15 year old daughter of Randy and Donna Adams. She attends Stringer Attendance Center where she is a cheerleader and a member of the Drama Club, Peer Council, and Student Council.
